D-NIL Casule, a phytopharmaceutical formulation, is recommended for the management of diabetes and associated micro- and macrovascular complications. In newly detected type 2 diabetes, D-NIL as a monotherapy, significantly reduces FPG, PPG and Hb A1c levels. As an adjuvant to insulin or other oral hypoglycemic agents (OHAs), D-NIL helps in reducing their dosage and prevents development of tolerance.
Clinical Pharmacology :- D-NIL increases peripheral utilization of glucose and increase the hepatic and muscle glycogen content. D-NIL promotes B-cell repair/regeneration and increases the C-peptide level. D-NIL has antioxidant properties, which protect the B-cells from oxidative stress. D-Nill also exters an insulin-like action.
D-NIL has broad-spectrum actions, which include insulin secretagogue and insulinomimetic, antihyperglycemic, alpha-glucosidase inhibitory,glucose utilization-stimulatory, gluconeogenesis- inhibitory, B-cell repair/regenerative, neuroprotective, oculoptogenic, and antioxidant actions. The various ingredients of D-NIL act synergistically to achive effective euglycemic response, which helps in preventing long-term complications of diabetes mellitus.
Indication:-
Type 2 Diabetes with micro and macrovascular complications :
Dosage :- 2 Capsule twice daily after meals or as directed by the physician.
